My wonderful CATS

Hello and

My name is Patty. I'm very blessed to have such wonderful cats. I live in beautiful Kentucky, we moved to Kentucky in 2003 with the intention of living the country life. I now have the space to raise and love a few different breeds of cats and dogs.

Our first Himalayan was a Santa gift for my daughter.

Her name is Precious Jewels, a cream blue point. My husband and I fell in love with the breed. This started us on a mad hunt to learn all we could, books, shows, internet and also help from other wonderful breeders. We are still learning and always will be because no one knows it all. I find it a great help talking to other breeders.

Our CFA cattery papers are in. We are now know as 

FUR-RONDY

it means fur gathering. 

With Persains we are only working with extreme tabby and calicos.

                                            

 I spent a long time looking for the right babies for our breeding program. The enclosed pages will tell you more about them. Please check them out on the enclosed web pages.

From time to time we may have a litter to offer. All of your kittens are CFA.

With Himalayan's I'm working with seal points we have two new additions. Both come from PKD neg parents, show champions, the boys father only needs one more win to GRAND. WOW! I'm so happy with these two extremes seal points.

I started to test for PKD. So far everyone is negative. One goal I have is to stop the genetic gene of PKD. This is a lab test, you take a supplied q-tip and rub against the cheeks inside you cats month, then insert the q-tip type swab into the supplied enveloped, seal, and send of to the lab to see if you Persian is a carrier of this gene. If a cat was to come back neg, each kitten would not have the PKD gene it's a 50 50 chance at that point the kitten would have it. The cost is around $65.00 each lab is different. This is only one small thing each of us can do but wow what a difference this would make with all breeders offering the most healthy and long living Persians we could possible offer.
